In the Public Space category, we want to celebrate and recognise outstanding urban design projects, urban studies, and temporary installations in public space, together with their creators. The category, like the entire competition, is open to Romania, Hungary, and Serbia and examines projects completed between July 2022 and July 2024 (urban studies must be completed or in the process of implementation/approval during this period).
This category brings together projects that not only meet the functional needs of users, but also contribute significantly to shaping the way we live in urban or rural environments.
The projects promoted in this category aim to highlight the ability of specialists to respond simultaneously to sustainability, social, cultural, economic, urban planning, and identity requirements.
