RDsign Studio is an architectural office based in Timisoara, which in 2011 took over and redefined the business of a family company, which has been in existence since 1992, working in the field of construction projects. The architectural office was founded by architects Daniela Negrișanu and Răzvan Negrișanu, both graduates of the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism in Timișoara, who were later joined by Valentin Sumanariu as an associate. Today, the RD SIGN team has a total of 11 architects and urban planners, and in addition to the design activity, some of the employees also work in academia, complementing the practical expertise of the firm with an academic expertise in the field of architecture.
The firm's portfolio accumulated over the years is diverse in both function and scale, from urban planning to interior design, with a focus mainly on residential buildings, both collective and individual. The office's reference works are composed of several collective housing developments (Nord One, Iris Residence), commercial buildings (South Plaza) or service buildings. One of the core values of the office is to find and maintain, in each project, a balance between theory and practice, between stereotypes or design experience and innovation, trying to push the project beyond the strict financial interests of the clients, while at the same time adapting to the current socio-economic context of the city.
